There are over 600,000 kindle EBooks now for sale on Amazon. Being noticed as one of those 600,000+ books is difficult. Here’s how to increase your exposure to readers and buyers.
If you send out your book blurb to 100 followers AND ask them to resend it out to their 100 followers – you have now reached 10,000 people instead of 100. Either through Facebook or Twitter.
By putting putting #authorRT in your tweet you are asking for followers to RT you to their followers. BUT you must go to the “@connect” on the top of twitter page and see who has RT’d you AND retweet their work also. Or they will ignore you next time. They are NOT looking for a thank you. They are looking for a RT of their book!
Use HootSuite or another program to send your tweets out several times a day – No one reads tweets all day long. No one can write tweets all day long.
Ask people to please share your facebook posts – You can get 1000s of shares this way.
Volunteer to write guest blogs and then advertise the blog site – helps the blogger and helps you.
Go to the Amazon kindle community sites and pick a thread to join and write something advertising your book.
Post a chapter of your book somewhere – everywhere you can find to do it.
Add an email signature to all your emails that has info about your book and its web site.
Start a pinterest site. One of the hottest around and getting a lot of interest. Very easy to use. Feature your book and pin pictures to the site that are about its content. Tweet and post about the site.
Get a routine going each day for what you feel is the most productive. Then try and hit one new site each day to provide new advertising contacts.
Start doing all the above and you will see your sales increase. Your book is your brand name that you are promoting.
